1st Symposium – Young Scientists Meet Young Scientists

On 17 and 18 November 2016, PhD candidates and postdocs came together at TUHH and HZG to meet colleagues in the fields of materials science and engineering. The first day at TUHH provided lab visits, poster sessions and discussions as well as talks given by industry representatives. Additionally, a prize for the best poster was awarded. On the second day at HZG, scientific lectures and further lab visits offered by the participants were high on the agenda. A talk on James Bond and Materials Science by Prof. Thomas Klassen and the get-together completed the programme in the afternoon.
